WatchWorks makes work for screen and stage, built from the character outward. We work as translators between a writer’s instinct and a buyer’s appetite, developing and producing across the US, UK and Europe with people whose work could not have come from anyone else.

Nathan Keyes.png

Nathan Keyes came to producing the way most good producers do: through every other job on set first. A decade of running an immersive theatre company, Firelight Collective taught him how to build worlds an audience steps into. A lead role opposite Lena Olin in Maya Dardel, which premiered at SXSW, taught him what a strong performance actually needs. A season shadowing showrunner Ron Nyswaner on Fellow Travelers taught him how a season of prestige television actually gets made. Producing 'Water Music' and 'Fake Muse', from independent filmmakers Magdalena Zyzak and Zachary Cotler , taught him how to actually get something made. And developing projects with Imagine Entertainment for Audible, alongside his own material, taught him the last piece: how to be the one who starts the story, not just the one who finishes it.
